2D, 3D Grinding and Buffing
The operations are performed on a COSTA machine, for more demanding stainless steel products where prior to further treatment or final cleaning, it is necessary to grind sharp outer or inner edges or edges of punched-out shapes, or to repair or make combed structure on visible surfaces.

Basic technical properties of the machine are the following:
  • 2 grinding sections and 1 brush section
  • Work area of the machine 1380 x 2620 (mm)
  • Maximum height of the workpiece 160 mm



Robotic Buffing

Robotic buffing of stainless steel products is performed in 2 robotic cells, SILEM and MAPOS-ABB, which enable buffing of cylindrical and non-cylindrical stainless steel products that are often used as covering components of various small household appliances with high aesthetic requirements regarding the treatment of visible surfaces as dictated by customers.
