With the start-up of the company Epsilon II, the company FORI began establishing itself as a system supplier of components for the needs f automotive industry. In the framework of this project, we will acquire for the customer two tools for injection of plastic inlays for headrests which the customer supplies as finished assemblies to the manufacturer of OPEL cars. All three back seats of the cars will be equipped with our plastic inlays. The tools manufactured by a contract partner will be ready for the first injection tests in the beginning of November 2009. After the phase of optimisation of tools in November, the first regular production of both plastic inlays will, according to the future plan, begin already in December 2009. Along with quality of production, another challenge will be the logistic management of the entire project, as we will have to manufacture and supply 2,800 inlays per day (600,000 pcs. per year). With this project, we have taken the first step to an integrated exploitation of current production capacities of the production facility in Slovenj Gradec.
